Nickname: "The Rock"
I have only used the nickname since my appearance at the 2010 UK Open. The PDC required a nickname for their programme, so we tried to think of a name and reluctantly I agreed to "THE ROCK". It was just a set of coincidences really that set the name in motion, people say when i throw i am rock solid! I am a big lad anyway so that fits too and my first tournament in the PDC was in Gibraltar, so the Rock of Gibraltar was in our minds, and on that night we had to think of a name we had just played a league game against "THE ROCK HOTEL".
Date of Birth:
20th April 1984.
Background in Darts:
I have played darts on and off just for something to do since I was about 12/13 but i did not start playing for a team until i was 18 & that was on the Manchester "log end" boards.
I started playing 501 for a team in about the 2006-2007 season. A year or two later I started playing "Superleague" for Little Hulton in the Lancashire GMC Superleague, but unfortunately I did not play as many games for them as I would have liked because a year later in February 2010 I started to play in the PDC.
I like Oasis, U2, Madness, Phil Collins and in general, 80's music.
Only fools and Horses, Minder, The Sweeney, The Professionals, The Bill, Not going out, Mock the week, 8 out of 10 cats, A touch of Frost & of course, Bullseye along with much more!
I am a Manchester United fan, along with Football i enjoy Rugby, Tennis, Cricket, Pool, Snooker, Golf, Horse Racing and of course, Darts!

Would be winning my first open, joining the PDC and playing at the World Championships in 2012/2013.
I have done 9 darters in practice and dozens against mates but have not hit one in a match to date, but have missed double 12 on a few occasions for it! One day soon!
